Spanish 2 Pearson/Realidades 2 Feedback

Share your opinions about and experiences with the use of the online textbook, Readlidades 2, from Pearson. 

Consider:
  1. What worked well in terms of content and skill-building in Spanish?
  2. What could be improved on the content side?
  3. What worked well in terms of technology?
  4. What bugs or problems did you run into using the technology? How could it be improved?
SP2.6

Plus:
  1. C: Verb charts helpful
  2. C: Wrong answers were corrected
  3. T: Easy to get into Pearson

Delta:
  1. C: Too strict; prefer teacher feedback and leniency
  2. T: Popups complicated
  3. T: Hard to enable popups on other platforms too
  4. C/T: Interface/ program hard to get used to 
  5. T: Easier to stay focused on assignments on paper, faster on paper
  6. T: Didn't save progress

Plus:
  1. .C: verb chart was helpful
  2. .C: questions made us think on them more
  3. .C: the ability to redo different activities is helpful
  4. .T: better than using paper
  5. .C: scores were imediatly seen and known
  6. .C: if you don't do good on the tests, flash cards were given for help
Delta:
  1. .T: the way when you leave a half finished test and you can not go back.
  2. .C: some of  the activities was challenging to understand the question
  3. .C: unclear questions
  4. .C: the conjugation of the verbs and a vocabulary list chart
  5. .T: Verb chart hard to acess
  6. . T: navigation and verb chart are confusing

Plus:
  1. .C conjugations verb charts
  2. .C you can see your grade right away
  3. .C shows you the correct answer
  4. .T like it more that physical textbooks
Delta:
  1. .C didn't give good detail and there were no hints.
  2. .T wasn't hands on and didn't like using it online
  3. .C Test questions were bascicaly the same
  4. .C directions should be more clear
  5. .C critical on grammer
  6. .C writing it down helps with memorization
