- Get your Chromebook
- Log in with your school email login -- Tell me if it doesn't work for you or if you need help.
- Go to your Google Drive
- Click on NEW and create a new Google Docs file
- In the document title area at the top, add your heading:
JP2 Firstname Lastname CBL-10/01 - As a title in the document, write " Kanji #1-20 Practice "
- Copy the questions listed below into your document.
PART I: Write the reading of the following Kanji in Hiragana. Add the meaning in English.

SECTION 2: ADD JAPANESE AS A LANGUAGE
- Go to your settings: Click on the lower-right icon where can typically sign-out. Click on settings.
- Scroll all the way down. Just below "People", click on the link that says "Show advanced settings."
- Below "Web Content" is a section called "Languages". Click on "Language and Input Settings".
- In the "Languages" pane, click "Add". Scroll down to "Japanese" and click "OK".
- Under "Input Method", click on the box next to "Google Japanese Input (for US Keyboard)".
- Click "Done"
- Press " ALT + SHIFT " to switch between languages.
- Use jisho.org or alc.co.jp to look up words.
- Remember to add an English meaning for each problem.
- When you are done, check your name in Katakana. Follow the steps in SECTION 4.
- Go to http://apps.nolanlawson.com/japanese-name-converter/ and enter your name.
- Copy and paste the answer you get below your list of terms from the video
- Next, go to http://www.sljfaq.org/cgi/e2k.cgi and type in your name in the English field.
- Copy and paste the answer you get below the first katakana version of your name.
- Click on "SHARE" in the upper right corner.
- Enter my email: adamallenanderson@gmail.com in the People field.
- Click Done.
- If you finish early, try Katakana Drag and Drop Exercise. Write down your best time in the Google Docs document when you are done.
